AudioTroll, the premier device for integrating media into Saab automobiles has arrived. The focus in development of the AudioTroll was driver safety; keeping one’s hands on the controls of the car instead of the iPod.

AudioTroll integrates your current audio system controls and your iPod. Song titles and artist information display on the SID, balanced line drivers push the best audio quality as possible through the amplifiers and a smart microprocessor helps you stay in control of the car and your iPod at the same time.

AudioTroll features an integrated audio pass-through to allow the use of other audio devices such as an XM or Sirius controller, laptop or MP3 player. While the control functionality is not present in this mode, it still allows the use of the Saab’s fantastic audio system.

Features and Specifications:

Main Unit
* Micro-controller with interface to Saab I-Bus and Apple iPod Accessory Protocol
* 8-way Mini-DIN connection to Apple iPod Dock Connector
* Auxiliary Input Jack

Key Operational Features
* Upon connection, marries to vehicle’s Dashboard Integrated Control Electronics (DICE) and Theft Warning Integrated Control Electronics (TWICE) units to ascertain a logical connection to the vehicle’s network.
* By pressing “CD” twice on the head unit (Once on cassette-only units), the AudioTroll is activated and attached iPod begins playing wherever it left off.
* The first five playlists are available by pressing the preset buttons 1-5 on the head unit.
* Preset six is used to access the entire iPod library by song.
* Shuffle Mode is activated by pressing and holding the CD button until the SID chirps
* The song and title information will be scrolled across the screen once upon starting a song, and on demand by pressing NXT on the steering wheel. (Temporarily unavailable on 2004-2005 9-5)
