"If I designed a computer with 200 chips, I tried to design it with 150. And then I would try to design it with 100. I just tried to find every trick I could in life to design things real tiny." - Steve Wozniak, co-founder of Apple, Inc.
Much in the tradition of the founding fathers of the personal computer era, Granite Embedded is a privately-held firm with very humble beginnings. Every product Granite Embedded builds is engineered to a high quality standard, using some of the world's finest electronic components.
At this time, Granite Embedded Systems is a one-man company based in Portsmouth, New Hampshire with manufacturing facilities locaed in Stratham, New Hampshire. A new distribution network will be going live during Q3 2008, with real-time shipping being dispatched from a location west of Boston, Massachusetts and a European distribution facility located near Amsterdam, in the Netherlands. Until that time, all orders are being dispatched from Portsmouth.
In the Spring of 2007, AudioTroll 9400/9600 began shipping to customers around the world.
Continued development on the current AudioTroll line as well as new platform work with the 2003-2006 9-3 series are ongoing.
